OUR VISIONWe believe a revolution is needed in the foster-care system and in orphanages around the world. We believe that creative and love-centered therapeutic approaches have proven to support healing and transformation.
|
OUR GOALSOur goals involve collaboration with individuals and community-based resources across the globe, to create sustainable solutions and loving support systems that positively impact standards of living for the worlds most vulnerable and forgotten generations.
|
OUR STORYThe beginning of the Angel K Love Project (A.K.L.P.) was inspired by a very special person in 2012. Without her presence on this planet, the A.K.L.P. would not exist today, and it would have never grown exponentially into something extraordinary!

Self-sufficent, child-centered communities have never been more needed than today.
We hope to inspire a new conversation about solutions for children in overcrowded orphanages and foster care systems.
Our concept bridges holistic education with a loving foster-care program on a self-sufficent ranch/farm environment surrounded by nature. We will provide a safe sanctuary that prioritizes mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health, as well as individualized therapeutic education and unconditional love for all.
Holistic therapies will be our main focus for healing children who experience trauma, physical handicaps, learning disorders, depression, special needs, and more. Some examples of holistic therapies we will integrate are:
We are committed to being a resource to the surrounding communities by providing a positive contribution through the creation of jobs and a loving network for all involved. Participants of our organization will also be able to learn about environmental preservation, sustainability, community-focused lifestyle, organic farming, holistic therapies, and holistic health.
We also know that central to the success of our mission is the ability to include communities in multi-disciplinary educational practices, mindfulness trainings, freedom for all faiths, and foster/adoptive parenting classes.

The future of this world depends on the children of this world.
These statistics show the global impact of this problem.
International Adoption Rates
1999 - 2014
A STEEP DECLINE IN INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION RATES
There is a 50% decline in adoption rates and an increase in orphans around the world.
Millions of children need loving families and millions of families are desperate to adopt, but adoption rates are dropping. The United States was once the leading country for adoptions in the world. Corruption, fraud, child trafficking, and an increase in adoption regulations have consequently contributed to the alarming drop in adoption rates.
In 2013, UNICIF estimated 226,000,000 orphans who have lost one or more parents due to AIDS and other causes. This number does not account for the large population of "virtual" orphans who have been made homeless by their families or orphans who are in foster and institutional care around the world. All are vulnerable and in need of help.

Estimated Number of Orphans Worldwide
Increase In Number Of Orphans WorldwideAs adoption rates decrease and the number of orphaned children rise, the scope of this crisis becomes even more pronounced. The future of our world depends on healthy, stable children able to become leaders, but many are suffering and completely forgotten. Institutions like mental health facilities, foster care systems, group homes and orphanages are unable to keep up with the number of kids needing care and are becoming dangerously overcrowded. Orphanages struggle to manage proper sanitation, are unable to provide nutritious food and little to zero education. They struggle to staff enough members to offer children adequate attention and love. As a result, orphaned children are more mentally and physically compromised and further from any opportunity to spread their wings.

STUCK Documentary - This documentary shows the difficulties orphaned, foster children and adoptive parents face as kids are being moved from one overpopulated system to another. This has become the solution for foster care systems that cannot secure more funding and/or treatment for these children. This constant movement is likened to how they move cattle.
These kids will know what security in a home feels like because they are pulled out and put into different foster homes, group homes, or orphanages every year. It is obvious from these true stories that our world does not value the lives of children, nor place their health as priority. Loving and nurturing them is not an active standard in this world and it must change. |
“Globally, there are more children living in foster care or institutions than there are being adopted, according to the United Nations.”

All children deserve love. All children are the future.
