Women Creating Our Futures Conference
January 11-13th, 2019
We are so honored to be the Sponsored Charity at the Women Creating Our Futures 4th Annual Conference scheduled for January 11 - 13, 2019!
Every year co-hosts Cynthia James and Jean Hendry pick a charity to highlight and support. We are thrilled to be invited as our mission and work in the world will be highlighted. We will also have a table where we can share what we do with a new group of women.
Jean and Cynthia bring hundreds of women together for this powerful event. The conference shares amazing speakers, inspiring music, women entrepreneur vendors and tools you can use to create the life you want. There is also a dedicated space with amazing well-being specialists available to nurture you during this weekend. It is a weekend intended to be all about you.
We are thrilled to participate in 2019 and want to introduce it to our community. The theme for this year’s conference is “DARE TO BE BOLD.” We believe it is a powerful time on the planet for women and we really want you to join us.

OUR GOALS:
- Find the perfect location to purchase a homestead property to build a sustainable Children's Home.
- Connect with sponsors and beneficiaries, apply for grants and launch a series of fundraising activities.
- Establish strong, loving support systems and collaborative networks with community-based resources and individuals in North Carolina, internationally, and across the globe.
- Create sustainable and self-sufficient solutions for our homestead environment, therapy animals, staff, and our children.
- Positively impact the standard of life and education for the most vulnerable children and expand our model worldwide.

Silent Auction ~ Door Prizes ~ Variety of Food ~ Kid Friendly ~ DJ MEAR ~ AKLP Board of Directors
We had another successful fundraiser on March 18th, 2018 at Sushi Hai in Denver! Sushi Hai donated 20% of all food and drink purchases to the Angel K Love Project. Thank you to everyone who came out to Sushi Hai Bar to help us raise $3,400 for our mission and vision!

It was a lot of fun to visit with so many loving and supportive people! We ate sushi, drank some delicious drinks, listened to DJ Mear’s mixes, gave out Door Prizes, and many people participated in our incredible Silent Auction items. We can not continue our efforts without this kind of love and support.

Bon Voyage Benefit 2017
IN JANUARY 2017, WE MADE THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION OF OUR LIVES...
We decided that it was finally time to sell most of our belongings, sell our home, prepare ourselves for travel, and put together our first fundraiser.
Our Bon Voyage Benefit in April 2017 was a success! We were able to say goodbye to our family, friends, clients and Denver community while also raising money for our Angel K Love Project. Please view our full presentation from this night on our Youtube Channel!

We would like to share that we are so blessed to have raised $26,000 so far! We want to thank everyone who has contributed to our love mission by coming to our benefit and donating on our website! But, this is just the beginning.
We have HUGE goals and we know the only way it’s going to happen is by raising more funds so we can truly make a revolutionary difference in the lives of so many forgotten and vulnerable children!
Amy and I would like to double the amount of funds we have raised so far by 2018. In order to build something sustainable, we need to have access to a variety of holistic therapies and education, farming and gardening, plenty of residential living areas for our staff and volunteers, and so much more.
We have HUGE goals and we know the only way it’s going to happen is by raising more funds so we can truly make a revolutionary difference in the lives of so many forgotten and vulnerable children!
