Judy Peacock
Judy’s favorite place to be is in nature. She is a flower child, raised in Detroit, who spent lots of time exploring the beauty of Northern Michigan with her family. Her dad was a science teacher, so there was never a lost opportunity to learn about rocks, trees and symbiotic relationships.
Her love of the great outdoors was enriched by her travels throughout the world. Some of her favorite adventures have been walking the Cameo in Spain, solo travel through Thailand, sailing the Caribbean, diving the Great Barrier Reef, and seeing the mountain gorillas in Uganda. When not traveling, her passions turn to gardening. Whether it’s flower, herbs or vegetable gardens, she just loves playing in the dirt. Becoming an award-winning flower arranger was a natural extension of her 55 plus years of building gardens. Her career followed the similar path of education. After obtaining her Master’s in Business, she held positions Health Promotion and medical bases businesses. In addition to raising two amazing children, she also spent time volunteering ranging from the President of The Cleveland Clinic Auxiliary to Flower arranger for Denver Botanical Garden’s CSA Program. Her love of teaching, sharing her knowledge and watching other’s blossom just makes her smile. She feels that getting kids out in nature is an essential part of childhood. Helping them explore the abundance our planet has to offer and have fun doing it is such a key to peace and harmony that can aid them through life. |
