Cooking A Turkey Dinner At Eliada Children's HomeThis Thanksgiving Day, we will be volunteering our time to help cook a Thanksgiving Feast at Eliada Children's Home in Asheville, North Carolina. Amy and I (Michelle) are going to help prepare a dinner for 45 kids, ages 6-17 who live at Eliada. The menu includes: 5 turkeys, gravy, stuffing, mash potatoes and veggies. Did you happen to notice that there is no dessert on their menu? We sure did! We think dessert is the best part of the whole meal. Don't you? Since dessert is not on the menu, our Board Of Directors loved the idea of donating some pies to the Eliada kids and staff. We will use some of our funds from Angel K Love Project to donate 10 pies. Yum! We want to thank all who have helped us raise AKLP funds thus far because it allows us to help in ways like this as we work towards our goals of establishing a AKLP Children's Home.❤️ Amy and I are planning to volunteer and work with Eliada while we, as the Board Of Directors, search and find a perfect location for the Angel K Love Project to build and to start-up a Children's Home of our own. Working and volunteering alongside Eliada, and other Children Homes, will help us learn about the rules, regulations, and procedures for Residential Care, Foster Care, Social Services, etc. in North Carolina. 2 Easy Ways You Can Support AKLP During The Holidays1.
